I don't think it would make any difference to the amount of junk food consumed in the UK. In fact knowing the youth of today they will probably turn it into a game by timing how long it takes to find a specific product on the shelf.

Really food and other products should have simple packaging anyway. We should be simplifying packaging for environmental reasons. Colour printing is also wasteful of resources, it takes more energy.

I think with augmented reality, advertising to children is only going to get worse. Probably within 10-20 years we will all be wearing augmented reality glasses and audio devices.

I don't think the packaging will make any difference. If someone wants to eat it then they will, regardless of what the packaging looks like.

Yes if someone wants something they will just buy it anyway regardless of packaging.

It’s a good point because we have plain packaging for cigarettes and junk food can be just as harmful.

The world has gone mad and those supposedly in charge are far too bothered about controlling us and what we eat than to actually do their jobs. They need to stop worrying about packaging there are far worse things out there to get us!

However, I don't agree with cartoons promoting anything, and certainly not sweets!
