Are You Planning to Take Your Kids to See Father Christmas?
Ask a Question
When my son was younger, we used to take him on the Santa Train, North Yorkshire Moors Railway, a steam railway and you got to see Santa. I think it was more fun for the adults more than the kids
I had completely forgotten about it, until seeing this article "Steam railway lit up in thousands of festive lights"
Do you plan on taking your kids or grand children to something similar ?
I would love to take my kids on this but nothing local. Grotto are smaller than they used to be too. I usually take them to a grotto at local market (the presents are getting smaller too) but none last year will have to see this year
My daughter takes the grandchildren on polar express they go in their pjs and they reenact the film. Its wonderful
I think that is the sought of thing that builds memories that stay with you, although saying that I was talking to my grown up son about the year it was snowing and Santa landed by helicopter at the Yorkshire Air Museum (Elvington) & he doesn't remember
beccatavender thats a pity we took lots of photos and videos when our children were little this does jog their memory and our daughter and son in law have done the same
