It's a beautiful European country and for the time being, it's still part of the EU so you might want to visit before Polexit is finalized.
I have. Went with my mum as my Granny was originally from Poland. The castle is lovely. We went to auchwitz and the salt mines also, but that is obviously a very emotionally trying day so not for everyone.
We found that if you eat in the wee local cafes and restaurants the food is really cheap! That might have changed but something to consider.
Never been but are Polish people friendly? I hope they can accommodate me and I don't speak the language I hope I won't get lost if I ever do visit. Cheers
I’ve been to a Poland a couple of times, Warsaw twice & once to Krawow. Beautiful place! Friendly people and dead cheap.
As someone else has stated I too went to Auschwitz as it’s not too far out from krakow but I understand thats not everyone’s cup of tea.
Would recommend the salt mines though, I won’t say too much but they have a whole chapel there underground and it is fascinating.
Thank you all so much folks they go somewere every new year n love doing the sites x i shall show them these and they will sort things thanks once again xx
