Is There A Problem Uploading Images On Postings Today?

I have been trying to upload images all day without success, I want to post something now that I have to provide the image for but it won't let me, is it me or are others having a problem? I can't post something without an image!! I messaged the team but haven't heard anything back yet...

Yes Jo, I had the same problem. The site absolutely refused to accept an image url or even a screenshot so, because it was for a voucher/percentage off, I went ahead. About four minutes later it was taken down with a 'your recent post didn't meet our quality guidelines' There is definitely a gremlin and not just you. (this was two days ago)

Aw thanks ange, I didn't have a problem till today and I'm on a Desktop so I was beginning to panic it was me! There's no point posting without a pic and if they are going to take things down anyway it's a waste of time posting in the first place! I don't usually get it all posted till late and I think I still have 6 to post!! No reply from anyone still, what a pain eh?! I might as well give up, I've had sooooo much taken off lately too! πŸ™„ πŸ˜‰ x

JoTarpley The team are working remotely so it's going to take a little longer than usual. Sorry for delay in reply - I went out to get fuel - ain't gonna lie - was a little twitched but well past the red marker. 😱

angemski Sounds a bit iffy that one ange but I'm really pleased you didn't run out πŸ˜… you can't go anywhere too often though, it's too risky! Yes I realise things take longer, I seem to lose points just as quick though! 🀣 πŸ˜‰ x

No I’ve not had issues. I’ve had to upload today and not had issues, but I’m on an iPad. Hopefully Kelsey can help? might be a bug

Hello, we believe this may be because of a recent update to Google Chrome. If you’re using Google Chrome and experiencing this issue, please may you try another web browser such as Internet Explorer, Edge, Firefox, or Safari?

In the meantime we are investing to fix it.

Hi guys πŸ™‚ Sorry about that seems to have been a quirk with the latest version of Chrome. I've changed some code about and should be working again now for the latest version of the site πŸ‘

Just to follow-up on this, to get the latest version of the website with the fix (as per Kelsey's message above) you'll need to refresh the website a few times. The best way to do this on Chrome is:

  • Windows: Ctrl + Shift + R
  • Mac: Cmd + Shift + R

Do that a few times and you should get the latest version of the website and can try posting deals again. Thank you everyone for your fantastic feedback to help us identify and (hopefully) fix it!

Everything is working fine for me now, thanks Kelsey and Tom for fixing it so quickly, just to confirm, I am on Chrome πŸ˜‰ x
