Pushchair/Stroller
Ask a Question
Hi everyone
Is it me, because I am first time mum, or are all the pushchairs up to 15 kg only?
It says on most of them from birth to 15 kg, 3 years old.
What about kids that are bigger and eat well? What if they are 2 years old and close to 15 kg.
I don't want to buy one now and have to buy another one in couple months.
Please can anyone give me advice on what to do?
What to buy for my daughter that's almost 2 years old.. And tall and getting to 15kg.
How can they say 15 kg up to 3 years??
I am probably making a big deal of this as I am first time mum and have nobody to ask.
Appreciate all advice and information.
Thank you
A stroller would be a better option for a toddler, if you search strollers for 15kg plus child it'll give you a few different options. Just make sure to check the details as Google still brought up ones only suitable for upto 15kg. John lewis do one for upto 22kg. www.johnlewis.com/john-lewis-anyday-everyday-stroller-charcoal/p5529655?gclsrc=aw.ds&s_ppc=2dx92700070985443024_mixed_fashion_BAU&tmad=c&tmcampid=2

This is perfect and the price is amazing as well.
Thank you so much for your help
It have been searching for something like this for days now.
You made my day
Thanks a million
I have a tall son for his age. We have a Joie stroller, it goes to 18kg, but it hasnt been needed for a while as he prefers to walk. Our stroller has been sat in the hallway for a while now. To be fair 15kg for a 3 year old is the average and when they get to that stage they can walk a lot further so don't need a stroller as much. Buy one that has the highest weight limit that you can afford. I wouldn't worry about it too much. You can always get a trike with a parent handle to use if she still needs to be pushed in something but is too big for a stroller.
I'm also a first time mum but things like this weren't important to me. I was happy when my son grew out of his pram and stroller, because it meant he was making progress. I've had a different experience to most first time mums though, that's why these things don't seem like a big deal to me but I know they are important for other people.
MrsCraig hi
Thanks for advice
I had same as first time mum.
I lost my mum 2 weeks before my daughter came and 1 month after my grandmother.
So not really had anyone to ask except my best friend.
My mums and dad's family have not really been supportive
This is why I sometimes feel like I am overreacting to small things and you are probably right about the Stroller.
She is 21 months tomorrow but she is already wearing clothes for kids if 3 years because she is really tall.
She probably will do the same thing as your son because when we are out she loves to walk and run around.
I end up pulling the pram now just around for bag
Reason I want to change is because the pram I have is a set and want to sell it as set
So wanted to get something easier and cheap.
I think that one that I was recommended here from John Lewis is probably one that I will end up getting and than giving it away.
Thanks for advice
I really appreciate it and it's been really helpful. X
AndreaAndzic it can be easy to over react to these things as everything can seem important when it's your first. That sounds just like my son, he is 4 this month but is in age 5-6 clothes.
Our first pram was a set and I sold it and got a 2nd hand stroller with the money I got. We haven't used our sons stroller for almost a year but I can't bring myself to get rid of it yet.
My daughter is 2 and a half and we still use our SilverCross stroller for her, she does prefer to walk but the stroller comes in handy still.
PinkElephant26 thanks
I have hauck
But a friend wants to buy it so because of that I was looking for something different. Smaller and cheaper
