The Queen Now Has Her Own Barbie for Platinum Jubilee Will You Buy Memorabilia

Ask a Question

To mark the anniversary of the world’s longest-serving monarch, you could hang up some bunting, invite a few friends over, and raise a patriotic glass of Pimm’s to toast the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee (and the bank holiday). Or, you could purchase a limited-edition Barbie doll of the Queen.

The doll is being released to commemorate her 70 years on the throne and is part of Barbie’s Tribute Collection. lots of other products on the market. Will you be buying anything to commentate it??

The old lady Barbie is quite valuable, it's currently going for £320 on eBay: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Barbie-Signature-Queen-Elizabeth-II-Platinum-Jubilee-Doll-UK-Seller-/334413508707

Lucky ones who bought to sell it later.

Wow, I think it's a nice idea but I wouldn't pay £95 for it let alone £320!

Wow that's expensive, I personally am not interested in getting anything to celebrate it. A lot of royal celebration things I have seen people collect I think looks awful but I guess that's just personal taste.

I must admit I would be very tempted to buy the jubilee teddy (£19.95) if a family member was having a baby this year. I do fancy having a memento to pass down, imagine if your parents had something from queen Victoria's various jubilees. Be worth a fortune now!

I have several items (stamps, coins, spoons etc) from special events over my lifetime but none are worth much as so many were sold.
