Well done, I only got 8 as I remember reading about the Spanish court having forks earlier than Tudor times, so wrongly assumed it was spoon, but of course they had ladles so would need spoons for all that pottage they ate!

Lynibis that happens to me all the time when doing online quizzes! Especially when you have a wee one who wants to touch your screen and then answers it for you!

Ann1984 you must stay behind for detention lol!

How old are your children? There are some fantastic films/series around like Anne of a thousand days, the other Boleyn girl, wolf hall. I am sure there are loads more that others can come up with. It may capture them more to watch a film than ordinary learning.

Ann1984 ah maybe a bit young for any of those. But I bet she would enjoy horrible histories, a fun and funny way to learn.

Lynibis yeah she watches abit of them but doing school work at home so hard plus when they taught a complete different way i was they could have just concentrated on maths and english most stuff needed to be printed whice sadly couldnโ€™t afford the 50 needed to buy ink whice I explained but if I was a benefit mum that would have been supplied on paper what was needed

Ann1984 I absolutely adore teaching kids under 10. I wish I could do some private tutoring in English and history but I have no qualifications, although I am sure I know enough to impart to children of that age.

I am always teaching the kids I transport little snippets of info. They listen more when it is 1 to 1.
