Ready for the Sharing Tin of Lindor Chocolate Truffles This Christmas?
In the News
For Christmas, you can get a pre-mixed tub of 32 Lindor chocolates (400g) in six flavours, inside a festive keepsake tin, retailing at £15 - but should be on promotion in the supermarkets at £10
Looks like something that may be popular - but as you can currently get a 337g mixed box for £6 on Amazon, I don’t think it’s of great value
I could perhaps be enticed if they included limited edition varieties, such as pistachio or stracciatella, but I doubt they would be included
Would you buy this?
Sounds like a crappie deal. I recently got a box of salted caramel to try for £5. Nice but nothing to rave about in my humble opinion. I am currently working my way through several deals from Yankee Bundles and Amazon.
The latest triumph is the Green & Blacks selection box, delivered from Amazon, that we shared with our neighbours on Saturday night. Thanks to Johnny for listing these. I think I paid £7.50 (RRP. £12+).
Xx
Yes, it is definitely not of good value. Most of the single flavours are currently £4 instore, and I saw the mixed truffles in Tesco at £6, which is almost the same size. Lindor needs to do better lol x
I thought it may have been an ok deal to have a mix, but then I saw it was only 400g, so definitely not worth a tenner. It looks like most of the basic, standard flavours, so better getting them separately and making your own mix box
I know what you mean. Last year I saw online that they were supposed to have fancier flavours in a mixed box, such as pistachio, but they were not available online and I never found them instore
Yum, Lindt Lindor chocolates are delicious. You could always buy the tin once - when it's on offer. Then hold onto it to refill for subsequent Christmases with your preferred flavours.
You’re right. If the tin is nice, it’ll be worth buying at least one as a keepsake. It’ll be popular to gift with as well
Hopefully they'll put it on some sort of offer before Christmas.
Or even include it in their £7 for 2 tubs of Chocolates promotion that they run from time to time, if they are feeling really generous.
I hope so too. I’ll just do my own mix if the tubs don’t get cheap enough. Most likely they will go down significantly after the Christmas rush
Sounds like the perfect Christmas pressie for me will look out for it in discount stores would feel too guilty spending so much on chocolate at one go
I saw the price as £10 in Tesco and thought that was crazy I don’t see how they could compete with the likes of Roses, Quality Street and Celebrations that are all usually price matched at around £4...
Right now I have seen those tubs for about £3.50 in Tesco, and most people are happy enough with those, so spending almost 3 times that seems extreme
Very expensive deal and it is a mixed box....I do not want a mix of these...always want the dark chocolate one. I saw in a store u can buy these, they have kg price...I think that is better.
Lol with how things are these days, it’s perhaps the norm to no longer share anything...which has its benefits
They always make these things look fancier than they are so that they can charge a higher price tag. Remember the Cadbury's selection box that went for £46, when the contents were worth about 15?
I LOVE Lindie chocolates but the deals not great! I will probably but a different flavour box a week for 4/5 weeks before Christmas and then put them out in a festive bowl for everyone to enjoy x
