Recent Comp/survey from McDonalds.

Did anyone do this comp? There was nowhere to submit details so this is the ongoing communication I have had with McDs.
Just did your short survey to win a £100 gift card online. Answered your questions and clicked submit but there was nowhere to add any personal details so how will you send the prize? Bit of a naughty trick to get a survey done!

It wasn't sent via my email, but by your online form and did not ask for my email or anything else. Maybe I am ignorant, as I am a bit of a technophobe, but I didn't know it was possible to glean my email address from your online comp site having not given it or my name. Would love to know how that works.

I found the comp on a deal/comp site. There were other comments regarding the lack of any type of entry form or request for a name or email.
Because of this the competition must have been taken down as it is no longer there and I only did it today.
There were about 5 questions along the lines of rating various items of food, how often you eat McDonalds and whether you go alone or with friends etc. Can't remember the others.

Scam email, from other company, not from McDonalds sent the survey, so they just got the details.
Agnes, they didn't get any details, that is the whole point. They didn't send an email it was a competition on latest deals. You answered 5 questions and clicked submit, but then realised at no point did you put a name, email address or phone number.
I also entered it and now believe it's one of those scam comps and there is no prize available, simply because one doesn't exist. I think the genuine McDonalds would ask for your email address or phone number to enter you into the comp. Otherwise, how are they going to contact you if you win? Unfortunately, there are many scams going around.
I agree, but isn't it strange that the questions were all specifically to do with McD's food, was well set out and there was no attempt to get info from you. I hope whoever posted it reads this thread, maybe they can remember where they found it.
