What is your favourite way to eat potatoes. My favourite is a jacket potato in the oven then mixed with butter and cheese, then grilled with more cheese on top.
All of the above and it is really hard not being able to indulge as much as I would like due to D2
I suppose it depends on what the potato is complementing, absolutely love a jacket potato with butter and cheese, can't beat some lovely crispy roasties with roast beef, New Jersey potatoes when available, left over boiled potatoes shallow fried, creamy mashed potato and of course the old favourite Chips with a nice juicy steak. Such a versatile vegetable.
Love roast potatoes if they're done right, not too crispy and slightly sweet. Only really have boiled potatoes if they're new/Jerseys. Homemade chips are the best, don't like oven chips at all. Jacket potatoes have to be really crispy as the skin is the best bit for me and now I am really hungry
I use about half a block of cheese on a jacket potato I donβt really like melted cheese much so I have cheese on a separate plate and have a scoop with each mouthful of potato I love crispy roast potatoes as well!
I try to avoid potatoes because of the high starch levels but occasionally I see a bag reduced and can't resist having them for a change. I love a nice jacket potato but the front runner is chips by a long way.
I love them all, but chips is a favourite that I will never get bored of. There was a period of my life i had it every day...yummy!
All of the above, but i have to be in the mood for jacket potato, I tend to have it in the summer. I eat a lot of sweet potato which i leave the skin on and make wedges so less waste. Same s regular potatoes
