Well me and the wife have 2 new friends . 2 robins in the garden visit us daily and eat the fatballs and sing . They stay for a good couple of hours and even with the pooches bouncing about barking they don't fly away ! Have you heard that if a robin visits its the spirit of a loved one .I'm not really a believer of things like this but gotta say its made me think . SOPPY as it sounds i hope it my mum .
I usually have robins nesting in my garden I have an Ivy fence which they like nesting in. They become very tame, unlike the blue tits 
who were for many years nesting in a box, but they'd not go near the box if any human was about, then a squirrel totally destroyed the box which had been in use for over twenty years and was about ten feet from the ground.
Edit: Had to laugh the word after BLUE was auto censored. I didn't do it!
We have 2 cute ones on the patio since we've put fat balls out too. They do wake me up in he morning though as they're right by my bedroom window
