It is swelteringly hot in Europe atm, and that plume is making it’s way over here

What do you do to keep cool?

It's meant to be 31Β°C in my area on Saturday. I'll need to cool down with iced drinks and stock up on ice-cream β›„

Wow, that will be warm indeed. Just as well there seems to be lots of cold drinks and ice cream on offer 😜 Even spending time looking for such products in the supermarkets will keep you cool πŸ‘

I hate excessive heat, am dreading the higher temperatures and apart from work I will be staying indoors with curtains closed as I did last year. Luckily, although my work is mostly outdoors it is in air conditioned vehicles!

I’m really happy the heatwave has finally hit Scotland yesterday - iβ€˜ve had to have my heating on in June! Which is insane but it was freezing up here! I make doggy ice lollies for my dogs to keep them cool, i dont really have an issue keeping cool!

I love the heat myself but feel for people who can't cope. If we had the heatwave like last year every year we would be geared up for it!!

Me too, a big fan of the warmer weather, as it’s never bothered me. But I understand how uncomfortable it is for some people, and how it makes some people really irritated (and smelly!)

I am doing everything I can to keep it cool for my son! Despite having the fan on in the bedroom over night, it was still 24 degrees!

I can't complain too much, it's 38 degrees in the shade at my sister's right now and she's pregnant, poor thing.

it was not that hot over the weekend, certainly not as hot as anticipated...but the sun was intense for those who were sitting out in it, as I noticed from those walking around with red raw skin
