I think yes they should be free not only for the reasons you have said but some girls don't speak to there mum over them I know I didn't but I was lucky I had a little job so I go my own

I think they should be free 100% If Nurses and clinics can give out free condoms or addicts new needles, whilst sanitary towels are an essential part of women's regime. So charging for them is wrong in my opinion.

I think they should be free for those who are in need, but if you can afford to buy them you should, so not to take resources away from those who need them more.

They should be free, but it doubt it will happen, just think how long it took to get the tax taken off the cost of buying them!

Yep i think all things like that should be free and also toilet paper and nappies i dont see why we should pay to be fair, your right these things come natural so why should we pay for them

Definitely should be free, we don't choose periods or even want them. People get contraception for free so why not sanitary products.

I feel sorry for those that can't even afford basic shops own brand.

In Scotland there is an act that states all local authorities and educational facilities have to legally provide free sanitary items to those who need them. They can either be reusable or disposable. We also have an app that tells you where you can get the items for free.
