Scam Websites You Should Avoid

Other

This should not be necessary, but some people see a low price and next thing you know, they've paid.

Here are three scam websites to avoid:

https://3pinproducts.com/

http://fungameworld.com

http://ukswitchshop.com

https://www.bestpsgames.com/

https://www.eswitchbest.com/

The last two seem to have been removed already, and you can see why on Trustpilot. People paid for it. If you done it yourself, then contact your bank as soon as possible so that they can get your money back.

How anyone could fall for an obvious scam (e.g. PS4 Digital for £240) I do not know.

Thanks for this ..... my daughter bought her 3 yr old a buy last year on what seemed a real website.... bike was £45 so not super cheap....she got a pair of fake gucci sunglasses and no response to emails....surprise!.... Her bank refunded her and got involved in shutting the site down.... but I bet they set up again under another name xx

I think some people are just hoping for the best and buy into such bargains. I can see both sides to the situation and I think it’s human nature to believe in the best of people.

I feel bad for those who got scammed on UK Switch Shop, but they should have thought about it twice and check Trustpilot @ https://www.trustpilot.com/review/ukswitchshop.com

The best they can do is contact their bank.

Trustpilot around 5 years ago invited me and a few others for a small meeting on ideas for the website. I suggested allowing users reply to reviews, but that didn't happen so they [scammed customers] have to think for themselves.

It was cool. Free food, wine and earphones.

I was going to say it's worthwhile (but doesn't guarantee safety) to search the name of website adding the word SCAM. It fetches scam sites to the top of list, When I did this with fungameworld I found this https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/fungameworld.com You'll see that although there is only one review (ONE STAR) By PhilipMarc(I know that name from somewhere☺) the actual overall rating is 3.2 stars. I can only assume TrustPilot was flooded with fake positive reviews to counteract the one genuine negative one, but TrustPilot although removing the obvious fake reviews didn't adjust the overall rating, so people should always look beyond the overall rating.

3 Pin Products is full of fake reviews although the newer ones are posted by genuine customers. Still, 3PP reports 1 star reviews from time to time.

I used to screenshot them, but I stopped. Just too many.

Even though 3PP is now closed, its owner [Luca Guerra] is still on Trustpilot reporting (removing) reviews.

Sigh. Smh.

Update: UK Switch Shop has opened two new scam websites.

https://www.bestpsgames.com/

https://www.eswitchbest.com/

And according to a review, it's from China so it's even harder to track down if anyone wanted to sue this scammer.

3 Pin Products is owned by Luca Guerra, Tech Elite Ltd of 20b, High Street, Kington, England, HR5 3AX. You can report the fraud to the Action Fraud Police, and having a crime reference number will help in getting a refund from your bank.

A disgruntled customer, I assume.

He's been removing reviews on Trustpilot even though he scammed people and took down the website. It's insane.
