What Are You Scared Of ?

Spider's, snake's, doctor who, and punch and Judy. What are you scared off and why.
I'd have to say rising chocolate or cake prices 
Inflation or increasing alcohol duty. The clock alarm 
I hate it when I am so warm and cosy in bed, so much so that I don't want to get out of it and then the alarm clock goes off meaning that it's time to get up. Even worse when it's in the middle of winter and it's early in the morning and still dark outside. 
- Spiders (my main one),
- Cities, (I don't like cities. I much prefer the country),
- Moths (What exactly is the point of moths?)
- Rude people (eg, not thanking you when you hold the door open for them)
- Not winning a comp that I REALLY want to win (I think we can all relate to this
) - My alarm clock abruptly waking me up early in the morning in the middle of winter when it is so warm and cosy in bed (again, we can all relate to this)
Don't have any problems with spiders or most moths, but I'm not a fan of clothes moths - Grrrr. I like cities, the coast and countryside. There are plenty of rude people in London. I'd like to win a few more (big) comps.
ACR it's a very long time since I've seen a clothes moths. Must be the little bags of Heather that I keep in the cupboards.
I take it you do not live in the country. Like I do. I am very likey because the cities are a 400 mile around trip. So I do not go very often. May be 3 to 5 times year. Like you I hate rude people. A lot of times I've had the door shut in my face. Or I stand there to open the door and they just walk in with no word of thank you. And I am disabled .
WASPS, I hate the little bu****s. I dread the day I will be driving with one trapped in my car! I don't much care for spiders either, unless under the size of a 5p.
Bubble bees wasps. I have to watch out for. If I get sting I am very poorly. Yes I hate them. But I would never kill them. They are getting very rare to see them now. And if we do not have bees there would be no honey. But i can see a day were there is man made honey.
Spiders, wasps and snakes. I recently stood in my garden for about an hour as there was a wasp in my living room and I waited for it to fly out again. I pretended it was so the dog wouldn't try to eat it, but it wasn't!
I've got to watch wasps and bees. If I get sting I am very poorly. My mum was the same. I would have done what did stayed out in the garden UNTILL cost was clear.
nicolajaynehend Nice to know I am not the only one! I have been known to swell up and react to the poison in the sting, so I am very careful around them. I made my husband check the house when he got home, just to make sure it had actually left!
MrsCraig good for you. That what I would have done. Got some else to go in to the house and check. I've to be very care full around wasps and bees. Just like you.
nicolajaynehend I was worried for the dog too as she goes for the flies when they come in the house and didn't want her trying to eat it and having to rush her to the vets. I always get him to check the house afterwards.
MrsCraig one of my dogs got a sting my wasp. She was yapping. So we go her in the car and went to the vets. The vet took the sting out and give her an injection. And I took pills home to give her. She was poorly for days.then we took her back for a check up. And all was clear.
nicolajaynehend Aww poor wee doggie! Glad she is ok now though. My dog just wants to play with everything and doesn't realise that things like wasps can be dangerous.
Mice and rats ...my skin crawls thinking about them. Once sat on the washing machine for 3 hrs waiting for husband whilst mouse explored kitchen. Lived in a cottage on farm at the time right near the hay store so was permenant problem. We had poison and traps everywhere but would still find droppings in beds and cupboards. Revolting. Moved as soon as I could!!
I live on a farm and that's the trouble rats mice mouse's. Are every were. But there are a lot of wild cats that keeps it down. I reward them with some treat and the uses of the warm shed in winter.
Cauliflower (the veg). I would get invited to a clients relatives house. They would put a mountain of food on plate. Plus a quarter of a large cauliflower. So many times it was put in front of me. I politely ate what i could. Now I get a shiver whenever i see one or frozen. YUCK !!!
Spiders .... I'm terrified even seeing them on the tv I have to close my eyes.... lil money spiders make me feel physically sick
Jojo just like me I hate spiders. And I all so do not like snakes. If I see them on tv after wards I got to check under my bed just in case they are there. Oh and I have a very long stick has well. I've been like this since I was little. It's crazy I now.

jojo I am on my own doing this. The funeral people were very helpful. I missing my dad. Went to do A bit to eat and did him one with a cup of tea. I am fining it hard with out my dad. But I will be ok. I will get there in the end it's just going to take me longer to get over it. The funerals a week on Monday at 2pm.

jojo not sure yet. He trying to sort something out. But he's got a week so fingers cross that he does make it. Just have to wait and see.
