Does anyone have a favourite scented candle? If so which one is your favourite?
Do you prefer Yankee Candles or would you buy cheaper stores own branded candles?
I like candles but with 2 young children too nervous to light them.
I have very little sense of smell so i just like watching them burn anyway

If you're dull enough to buy them, then good luck to you.
Just remember that there's people out there that can't afford to feed their kids, so if you're buying this overpriced crap, you should have a good look at yourself.
Ooooh bit harsh Chimp. She didn't say she used them, just asked if others do, she may use the cheaper brands. I have lots of Yankee candles but would never buy for myself. People seem to think I like them so I get a surfeit at Xmas and birthdays.......they never get lit lol!
I never said I bought/buy them for myself at all. I know their are children going hungry I dont know what that has to do with this topic.

A lot of us are having financial difficulties at the moment, so the thought of a Yankee Candle and the cost of them got to me.
Of course, everyone is entitled to buy what they want without people like me having a go.

I know how you feel as I watched something the other night where they set a room aside in a big store to display handbags for invited guests only. The minimum cost of one was 30k and it was not unusual to trot off with two! Is your life really more fulfilled because your handbag cost 30k. Makes me sick with so much need in the world.

Apparently home bargains do a similar version for 2.99 when kids back at school it's on way so might have to grab one. I don't buy Yankee but have one whice was gift smells nice and I have few of the small ones whice I got for 10p each would be daft to leave them on shelf.
I love candles but find the original Yankee Candle a bit bulky looking. Much prefer classic white candles in fact I’ve several Aldi scented ones and they’re not overpowering.

I would be far to embarrassed to post those rip offs on a deal site , but someone will I daresay !
Will the Latest Deals sheep like them though ? I suppose it depends on the first couple of likes (and getting on the Popular page ) to give them something to follow (and their 5 points per like ) sadly .
i love yankee candles, i love wax melts to! i think they seem to aroma the house more then candles. i also brought a light changing candle the other day which smells amazing
There’s an American brand that now is available in the U.K. called “Our Own Candle Company” and I’ve never known a candle to smell as strong as they do 
it fills the house, they’ve also got a huge variety of scents..
They are fab aren't they? I discovered them a couple of years ago at a Christmas market. Me & my bestie have been buying them ever since instead of Yankee. I currently have Snickerdoodle & Caramel pecan scents, My favourite tho is Hot Cross Buns. Its smells amazing.
