What Should I add to Scrambled Eggs?

Ask a Question

Ok, so I am eating scrambled eggs. What should I add to it before cooking, what should I add during cooking and what should I add after cooking?

Nothing, nothing and nothing lol. I just cook in some melted butter or olive oil but I know lots of people like to add a bit of salt but I don't like salt so do not add it to anything.

You should add seasoning like salt and pepper. When I have no idea. But what to add after cooking is bacon

I had bagel with scrambled egg & smoked salmon for my tea last night actually. I just melt butter in a non stick pan & scramble. I would add a touch of salt if having without the smoked salmon.

That one thing my fella cooks we had a full English for tea I cooked the rest he did scrambled eggs he just adds a little cheese.

The reason he cooks that part is he uses pan I'd do it in frying pan although my half gets put in frying pan to finish it off because I prefer it that way

I always season it before I beat the eggs. I like adding spices and herbs, as well as a bit of cheese

Just add your toast, salt & butter afterwards. I also cook mine in a frying pan (because it is not-stick) as opposed to a sauce pan (which isn't - in my case). Then it's much easier to clean.🥚

It’s funny how we are so used to just using a saucepan for certain foods and frying pans for others. I do cook a curry in a frying pan, while I have seen others use a pan.

tumblespots it’s that predictive text again, that can be so annoying. My husband sent me a text years ago and it said dog you want to go Pizza Hut. Luckily I realised it was a mistake.

eyeballkerry That's one of the benefits of using a laptop - no predictive text, just me making my own mistakes 🤣 🤣

Add a dash of double cream, salt, freshly ground pepper and dried mustard powder before cooking.

Some grated cheese after cooking. And more ground black pepper when on your plate.

I used to work in a kitchen a long time ago and the best scrambled eggs I had were cooked with butter slowly and cream.
