When I decide to participate at any competition, I am being asked, if I would like to share my details with other providers. I don't won't to, but at the same time I feel like my chances of winning anything are not existing...
Is it just me or sometimes is just a spam feeding scam?!...
I think it is often spam feeding some kind of scam. I limit the amount I share with third parties 
If it's not a requirement I don't usually share my details with other providers and I've still won quite a lot of prizes. If you haven't done so already, it's advisable to set up a separate email account to use exclusively for competitions.
I agree with you. I think It does slow your chances down. Its like a conversation: The more you give that person the more they can use It against you. It all comes down to GDPR In my opinion.
You definitely need a different account for your comping so that you can separate personal and comps, that way if you do get spam it won't bung up your personal emails and it's easier to ignore.
