Should have let it explode would probably make the place a bit better to live in!

London is my idea of a true hell on earth and I have been to some bad places around the world!

tumblespots Tell me about it i was a copper in London and only lasted 2 weeks before I had had enough and came home!

My pal George got shot in the face on a simple checkup visit from an Albanian thug running a paedophile brothel in Soho its a really bad place and I used to think Glasgow was bad but it has nothing on London!

Rome is bad too my pal Gwendolyn just got mugged and her handbag stolen last week after i specifically told her not to talk or engage the bag sellers and what did she do - yes she felt sorry for them - its the same in Venice i saw one of them actually attack a police officer who was trying to check his bags happened literally right in front of me pure shocked my old mum and girlfriend - everywhere is getting sad - been to Paris yet? it used to be great i lived there for 6 months decades ago its now like a foreign world.

Now that U.K. is no longer part of the EU, it's time for politicians to fix up London and the other big cities.

Hehe... I was actually thinking of something like that.

I am not at all a city person, particularly London. Should be completely eradicated. 😀

garygemmell rome! yes, that is a ***** hole! They sell it us via holiday shows as having all this culture and there are beggars and thieves everywhere! I've been twice to Rome for the day (stop off on cruise holidays) and both times I've nearly ended up in punch ups after getting harassed by looky looky men and women. I'm only 5ft 2in, but Rome makes my blood boil! As soon as anyone starts and won't leave me alone, I see red. I never want to go to Rome again. I hate that place. It brings out a very violent side of me. I will not be harrassed by beggars and thieves.

Rockman London is a dump, yes. I haven't been for a couple of years now and on the one hand I don't want to go back but on the other it has the British Museum and The Tate Modern. I have pretty decided that unless there is something really good on display at these places, I'm done with London. It is too rough.

ShellyAnn I was a bit disappointed in Venice a lot of the alleys smell of urine because there are very few toilets and there are no public ones the only ones are the ones in the restaurants and because they are so greedy you have to buy something to use the toilet so all the tourists just go down an alley and wee and poo in a corner it was pretty disgusting and falling apart too - Venice - smelly dirty and dilapidated we were all very disappointed and £20 for a cappuchino in St Marks Square just a complete ripoff!

Even if you want to sit on a restaurant seat if you are not feeling well as happened to my girlfriend its £7 can you believe it - they tried to force us into paying £7 to sit on one of their cheap seats even though the person was ill?

Who needs the western eu , eastern europe is where its at - unspoiled - cheap as chips and lovely people and they all want out of the EU too believe me - Slovakians and Poles hate the EU all the prices went up when they joined - I remember a coffee was 40p after the eu took over it went up to £1 so the poor slovaks and poles are even poorer thats why they all came here!

Probably plenty out there that no one's aware of. If one of them randomly goes off, well, it'll be a tragedy.

It's likely more of a when than an if.

Not really i did a lot of metal detecting in the Hurtgen forest a year ago and there is one particular forest with signs up everywhere saying no entry "achtung minen" and there are literally stick grenades and mines lying in plain view but they are all defunct after 70 years lying in the rain and rust all the chemicals have rotted away even the detonators have rusted to nothing. I found an STG35 and it was just like a big lump of corroded pipe but i was thrilled nevertheless always wanted to see the worlds first Assault rifle!

Once the big bombs rust or let in water the chemicals dissolve leaving nothing but a big hard lump!

Now Vietnam that is a scary place to go walkabout!

I went to the cinema in that area in the early evening and was a little concerned the screening could be affected by the bomb, but fortunately it wasn't. Soho is very different from how it used to be and most of the sex shops and clip joints have gone. There are lots of good places to eat/drink and it has an interesting selection of shops.

I hope she is calmer now! Unfortunately there are probably more of them throughout the country that will be discovered from time to time in the future too. 🐞

tumblespots Exactly! There could be one in your garden that you won't know about until that time you decide to dig a big hole for a pond; which is what I'm going to be doing at my new house whenever I finally get to move in. I'll let you know if I find one! 😀 mum is always freaking out about the news. It's like a horror film for her that she can't stop watching. She is still giving me updates on the virus. I told her I will order her a plague doctor outfit from amazon if she wants. 🤣
