Sore Throat

Ask a Question

We have not got Covid. But my husband and I have had a sore throat for over two weeks now. Has anyone got some good old remedies that can help get rid?

Herbal tea, add fresh ginger..it got rid of a really bad chest infection years ago, you could also try apple cider vinegar(with the mother) add it to fresh juice, about a teaspoon...tastes horrible but will help with the sore throat x

Gargle with warm salty water throughout the day may help ease it 👍 .

I make a ginger tea from grated fresh ginger (I keep it in the freezer and grate it from frozen). Add lemon juice and honey which will also help your throat. Hope you feel better soon.

MelissaLee1963 I do eat liquorice with my sherbet fountain but haven’t one due to the sherbet tickling my throat and making it worse, so I need liquorice on its own, thanks for the tip.
