Sorry Just Another Question about Amazon Prime

Ask a Question

Hi I've just cancelled my free Prime trial. I'd like some advice please. I only use the delivery not games, TV, music etc. The things I've ordered I'll only need every couple months. I was wondering if I'd be allowed to have Prime every couple months then cancel again til I need to set it up again? I don't imagine they'd allow you to keep paying for a couple of months and cancelling until you need it again. I suppose this isn't allowed. Thankyou 😊

I think you're only able to get a trial period once in 12 months so I wouldn't hold out much hope of getting a pay-as-you-go deal. I could be wrong so, hopefully, others will comment.

Yes you can add prime and cancel whenever you want, if you’re paying for it. So you could pay for a month now and then cancel it, then say pay for another month in March then cancel, then pay for a few months in the summer and cancel again. If you pay monthly for prime there is no contract and so you can just pay for when you want it.

lornaae Thank you for the info - I honestly didn't realise you could dip in and out. πŸ‘

sunny101 that’s ok, glad I could help. They do two options so you can either pay for the year or pay monthly and cancel anytime. I have in previous years just taken prime out for a month or two before Christmas or if there was something I wanted to watch on Prime then just for this and then cancelled after πŸ™‚

lornaae Thankyou so much for explaining it to me, that's great to know πŸ˜ƒ that's what I'll do then 😊 I must admit it does get a bit addictive, I love the next day deliveries and have been ordering things every couple of days πŸ™ˆ it's going to be great for buying Xmas pressies this year too, so thanks again Lornaae 😊
