How Much Do You Spend on Mother's Day?

£15-30..My mum is more thrifty than me and discourages flashy expensive gifts.I would love to treat her to a week by the Italian lakes though..just can't afford it.

Mother in law has already gotten her mothers day present so won't be spending any more on her. My mum will be a max of £30 and invite her to dinner at hers also. Will be telling my husband not to bother getting me anything from our son

Depends what I think she might want. Elderly now so doesn’t need much. She likes gardening in the warmer weather. I’m not a mum myself unfortunately so no one has to buy for me. I still spend carefully but would only gift good quality.

Nothing,my Mum died Oct 29th 2009,my partner's Mum died March 1st 2013..

Our daughter is home for a few days,I had 2 weeks annual leave to take so she got her Da to book me another 2 days off work so she can take me to The Orange Bird Restaurant near Sheffield Wednesday ground.

Her Da & I work for the same company under different Management at opposite ends of Sheffield, he always books my time off..

I get back from Manchester on Mothers Day after watching Peter Kay with my longtime Lancashire friend & spending time with her.

I don't normally spend over £30 so that's my limit, a nice card and bunch of flowers for my wife, my mum is no longer with us

My mums 80 and truly doesn’t need anything though she likes to treat herself to expensive perfume and new clothes for Easter (though she’s wardrobe full of beautiful stuff) so think 6 of us will all give her money depending on what we can afford. I usually give least at £25/30 as I’m on my own and can’t work due to illness but my brothers and sisters all have good jobs so they’ll give £50/60 except for my brother in Manchester. We live in Northern Ireland so he will always send a large bunch of flowers

I make my mum up a beauty box every year from all the lovelies I collect during the year, usually about £30 but a value of £120-£130

Some years I have also treated her to spa breaks and Spa days plus a holiday to Lake Garda.

I wanted my partner & our daughter to go & enjoy this special day at Portadown Football Club in Northern Ireland as it's my partner's home team, he & our daughter follow them. It's Portadown's first Cup Final since 2011,their first League Cup Final since 2015,sounds fantastic too!

We are over in Portadown this year for our 10 day holiday around my partner's birthday so him & our daughter are taking in 2 Portadown matches,I will go shopping in Portadown & go for a lovely walk along the River Bann on my own our with partner's sister...

I always get my mum a card and then usually take her out somewhere and if she is lucky I bring her back! Joking. Last year I took her to some local gardens near us that only open twice a year. Before I have taken her out for a cream tea. Best one was a trip out on a rented boat in Lefkas and we took a picnic.

Sadly my mum has passed away and even though my kids are in their early thirties I still like home made presents. They know I have colouring books - they will do a picture and frame it. I love things like that

Not a lot usually tbh, same with valentine's ect, I'd rather do stuff all year round, than just show up once a year because the calender says so
