We have a 8 month old puppy cocker spaniel every time we let him out in the garden he barks all the time he's out there anybody have any training techniques
He is probably only trying to protect you and your home... it might help if you get very close to him and bark at him. this will let him know (dogs are very intelligent) that you are quite capable of barking yourself and don't need his help.
That actually sounds crazy to bark at your dog but dose also seem like a good training tip thanks David method to the madness 
I know it might seem crazy - but it CAN work. I often bark before opening the door to strangers, or hear anything suspicious in the night. Had to laugh when one of my neighbours asked had I got a new dog. If any dog barks at me - I bark back using a bigger dog bark.
Please let me know if barking at your dog stops him barking - but don't blame me if anyone who sees you thinks you're "barking".
