Tesco are going to add premium mains into their Meal Deal for £5.50 (£5 with a Clubcard)
It will include their Finest Sandwiches, Salads, Yo Sushi, itsu and pollen+grace then your usual drink or snack. You'll still be able to get the standard one for £3.90 (£3.40 with a Clubcard).
Will you be getting one?
I don't think I've bought a meal deal in my life from any shop like this. I'd look at the cost of this and then look at the cost of a loaf of bread to last the week etc and I'd always go the cheap route and end up with the sandwiches I really like because I made them.
I can't believe how expensive meal deals have gotten. I haven't had one for a while, but sometimes you've got to grab food on the go.
I like to buy the lunch deal instead of making a picnic. Last time was a smoothie, scotch egg and chicken n bacon salad for £3 something. That’s good value.
