Texan Mother of Abcde Child Says Airline Agent Shamed the Daughter for Her Name

Other

If you can call that a name. And yes, the girl's name is spelled Abcde and pronounced something like Abs-cee-di.

The employee was really immature but the mother isn't any better to name the child Abcde. What's the brother's name? 1234? XYZ? 😆

When she's 18, she'll finally be able to get rid of that ridiculous name.

I have a real problem with parents who give their kids stupid names and it is they who are responsible for their children being made fun of and ridiculed. Why would you do it to a child you supposedly love? I worked as a Registrar for 26 years and you don't know how hard it was to stay professional when a parent asks you to name their child so foolishly. Celebrities are no better. I know I am just a grumpy old woman but .........................

You can just about get away with giving your child a weird name if you are famous. Otherwise, it's not fair on the child, as it just makes them a target of immature abuse. I bet the mother also uses Abcde as her computer password.

Wondering how they did not confused it with the sitting places lol...just the F missing from the end.

She is responsible to name her like this...and there are so many normal but special names she could choose from.

just read about this online and her name is supposed to be pronounced 'ab-city' I think her parents may be one of those who try to push their kids into stardom and fame. Good luck to the girl
