Things I Persistently Forget to Do at the Supermarket
Other
I have lost count of the times I have arrived to do my shopping only to find I have no change for the car park or trolley, I have even had to go home without the groceries!
Even if I get my parking ticket I often forget to hand it over at the till to get the Β£1.50 back, or even worse I find my money off coupons in my purse/bag/pocket when I get home. So much to remember these days, and enough just to use my phone app to ensure I get my points lol. I do try not to get old but I am losing the battle
We were shopping in Waitrose the other day and I used the self scan which in my opinion is wonderful. So pleased everything was going so well, no queues, complete recall of products that we forgot to scan our coupons.
I always forget to take my shopping bags and always end up having to buy more lol I could sell them back to them. Lol
Ha ha sounds just like me, I write a list of things to get and do and more often than not get to the shops to find I've left my list on the kitchen worktop. So annoying if I have a money off voucher and forget to use it .
If I may add one more thing to your list it's to compare prices first using our supermarket price comparison tool. I'm consistently surprised to find that the cheapest supermarkets (aldi and lidl) are very often not the cheapest for lots of things.
We keep a small change purse in the glove box to make sure that we always have change available for parking & trolleys
tumblespots always chucking change in the cup holder but always seem to need it for other things.
I am constantly losing my shopping list in the supermarkets and forgetting what the special offers I am supposed to be buying.
My husband has just done some supermarket shopping, I gave him a list plus an Β£8 off Β£40. They didnβt have a couple of items and he didnβt choose replacements. He therefore didnβt reach the Β£40 so couldnβt use the Β£40. Men!
I will sometimes forgot to pick something up if it isn't on the shopping list and I will immediately remember the minute I get home. I always make sure that I have a pound coin for the trolley.
