EBay or similar. Or sell it at your front door. Or where I live we have a place called zero waste and everyone takes what they don’t want and it’s then passed on to others who might need it. It just depends what kind of “junk” you are trying to get rid of

TracyStorrie I've put up stuff (on eBay) to collect for as little as £1 (a batch of VHS movies), coffee table for £10, and a small table for a living room for £20, yet no one bought.

There's a website or app where people post stuff to be given away, but I don't remember what it's called.

PhilipMarc nobody wants VHS anymore so you will struggle to get rid of those. But the rest probably better trying Facebook marketplace or see if your area has a Facebook group for free/cheap items

TracyStorrie I've made an account on Freecycle so hopefully I'll get rid of stuff and goes to a good home.

Common items that people need probably facebook marketplace with local collection. More specialist items it probably has to be ebay and posted.

It depends whether it’s really junk. If it is junk take to your local tip. If it’s just items you no longer want but in good order then list for free on facebook. There’s no charge and people come to collect.

Carboot sale if you have any local as the one we go to is massive which is great minus early mornings. There is local selling pages on social media or places like Gumtree , Preloved etc.

There is ebay but the fees make it not worth it sometimes and the Royal Mail post strikes won't help.

If you want them gone for free lots of charities do collections from home.

Good Luck 🙂

MISSMESSY Of 30 days, they're unavailable for 14. 😬

Use Parcel2Go's postal companies depending on the item's value.

Put some of the smaller junk into carrier bags and give them away to various charities.

Put it on fb marketplace or ebay. It depends what kind of junk you are trying to get rid of. Sort it out into piles, a sell pile, donate pile, throw out pile.

You could post on Freecycle. You make posts about things you want to gift or receive. Other members reply and then you arrange a pickup time and location. Just like that, you've saved something from going to a landfill.

If you don’t want to make money charity shops. Where I live our local tip has a charity shop - I always stop and ask if I think they may be able to sell something I am just going to throw away. I have also got some good bargains too.

If you've got some stuff in good condition try selling some on Vinted app. Try Depop and Facebook market selling pages in your local area. Try do a carboot sale or donate to local charity shop.
