Why Are My Deal Titles Being Changed?

Deals

I obviously need to come up with more inventive titles for the deals that I post as ive noticed a couple of them have been changed or added to lately !! There was me thinking that putting the actual deal as a title was enough..... looks like I should add “bargain” or “super cheap deal“ on them as well 🤔🤔

I know this is going off subject a bit but couldn't help noticing that there are many deals being posted individually for the same item. The one that springs to mind is a brand of crisps that are drastically reduced but each flavour is posted separately! Didn't realise you could do this for an easy 300 points, and I have been working hard to find deals that are not just food items on special offer. It has been done on a brand of butter too, ordinary and light, same make pizza but different flavours, and same for a brand of cake. Will have to reassess my deal posting and save some time!

I must admit I copy and paste the title of deals as they usually say it all.

Hi Lynibis thank you for your feedback. Please do report these types of deals as duplicates. As Latest Deals grows it is sadly attracting more points abuse and we are working towards these quality issues. Whether that means banning users, restricting their posting limits or disabling their points.

We recommend for long-term contributors to concentrate on good quality deals, just like you do already and everything will be fine. Be assured that we are constantly reviewing accounts and working towards higher quality submissions.

p.s. The crisps example you gave, one of those posts is now in moderation as a duplicate.

nipperjwb Thank you for your message. I'm sorry to hear you've had a bad experience of your titles being changed. We do occasionally edit titles and descriptions to give more information, with the goal of helping more people, but it does seem these edits to your posts didn't quite hit the mark. I'll feed this back to the team and we'll review. Thank you again for being a part of Latest Deals and I hope you continue to enjoy it.

I not really worried and I wouldn’t call it a bad experience as I’m really enjoying this site... it just amused me if I’m honest. thanks for looking at it but I’m not that worried at all
