Toothbrushing?
Ask a Question
Does anyone still use a manual toothbrush? My electric toothbrush has disappeared and for the first time in years I used a non electric toothbrush- it felt very wrong like I still need to brush
Hi I use non electric toothbrush kids do use electric Philips one .try it few times then i you will like it
You will notice a huge difference between a manual and electric! Electric is better because it is smaller and more powerful it gives your teeth a better clean and removes plaque easier however you need to ensure you don’t use this too much as you can end up brushing the enamel off your teeth causing them to become very sensitive so sometimes a soft manual brush comes in handy
wow thank you LeighReidAtanas I did not know it was better to have a break from the electric so hooray for losing things!
I switched from manual to electric a few years ago after a dentist told me to, but after a house move and not getting my electric one out straight away, went back to manual. It was meant to just be temporary. But at my last dentist appointment (different dentist), they told me to keep using manual as my brushing technique was working perfectly
I mostly use a manual toothbrush. My electric toothbrush run out of battery about 3 weeks ago and i havent been bothered to charge it yet. This is a regular occurence
Hi yes I still use a manual toothbrush ,nothing against the electronic ones just haven't tried one yet.
I had to use a manual toothbrush when I was away on the weekend and it was awful - I tend to press too hard so it made my gums bleed. So happy to be using the electric one again
The only time I use a manual toothbrush now is on holiday so I can just leave it there and don’t have to bring back with me
I have an Oral B electric toothbrush which has needed a new head for the last few months so I have been using a manual during that time. Really want to get my electric one sorted though as I prefer them
I prefer manual and switched about a year ago to bamboo toothbrushes and wouldn't want to change to anything else now
I was told to use an electric brush by my dentist but really I don't like it. I don't like the vibrations in my mouth. I was a bit freaked out when I first used it. I don't think they are that great. I don't like how long and often I have to charge it. I will use my manual brush a few times a week when the electric one is on charge.
I use electric and manual too....I think manual goes to places where electric can not get...
I have used an electric toothbrush for many years now, most probably when they first came on the market. I have always sworn by Oral B though and my dentist always says that I have an excellent cleaning regime. I only use manual if going away for a couple of nights and always feel as though i haven't cleaned my teeth properly.
