Trying to Get the Last Post before Christmas

I have family all over the country as well as abroad, trying to get parcels to Australia in time for Christmas is harder than you would expect 
It doesn't seem to matter how prepared I feel I am in buying all my Christmas cards and presents early, there always seems to be something I missed and I inevitably rush to get it in the post at the last available opportunity! How early do you send your Christmas post?
The way things are going with the Royal Mail you might have to send the parcels today.

Parcel2Go and ParcelABC have a list that do.
I'm going to bid on an eBay auction and assuming I win, I'll have to ask the seller not to use RM because RM will be on strike too many days on November.
PhilipMarc I have used parcel2go a couple of times and that was only because you have mentioned them before, I did find RM easier though as the sales were through eBay.
I'm lucky and don't have to post anything. It does seem that I forget something for Christmas no matter how meticulously I plan
I always post oversea letters and parcels from November 3 onwards first class and UK mails and parcels by 30 November using 2nd class stamps.
I normally have it all done by the middle of November but some of it will be later this year as need to wait till I've got my sons nursery photo before I can send it to his Granny and Great Granny
