I am looking for a vinyl player for Christmas but something that isn’t too expensive either.

Any ideas?

Roughly £60 is my budget.

The last time I was in a Cash Converters (just over a month ago) they had quite a selection at very good prices (not second hand)- you could check out your nearest store here. There's a search for nearest store in red box at bottom left.

With a £60 budget your best bet would be to buy a used deck. You should get something decent for that

Tk3 to be honest to get something decent you’ll need to start looking around £90-£100 at the budget end. You’ll also need a separate amplifier. As a compromise you could get a combined player and amp from companies like Crossley
