TV Advert For 'Find The Quiz Show' Costing The Caller Around £10
Ask a Question
I'm getting this advert a fair bit in my area, they show it quite a few times then there's a break then they start again, it's find names in a grid, the first call costs you £3.60 then you have the chance of finding a 2nd name but that seems to be an added on call of £7.20?
Do you think it's right that this type of advert is allowed on TV, I know Channels are desperate for advertising but where do you draw the line?
It's a massive rip-off and I'll think you'll find that the closing date is months into the future.
Yes I guess it is but I feel quite disillusioned with ITV in particular for allowing such a rip off it the first place, when people don't have much money they get sucked into rubbish like this, it's such a shame, it's just like those shark loan companies really isn't it TheChimp!! x
I've seen the advert lots of times in the last week. They make it so easy to find the two answers, I wouldn't waste my money on it.
Offcom. Shouldn’t allow it they should be doing more to protect the viewers especially at these troubling times
Yes that's what I'm surprised about TheresaKelleher why isn't Offcom acting on it, surely there's been loads of complaints, I mean, you only have to be on LDs to see people like complaining!! x
