Someday it'll probably cost £200 per year. 😆 BBC sure knows how to rip people off.

I've tried to tell countless people they don't have to pay the TVL if they don't watch Live TV or BBC but they firmly believe that having a TV makes it a must.

The worst part is if it was priced at £300 per year they'd still pay, no questions asked.

Rockman yeah totally! My parents still pay theirs and I tell them all the time to fill in the online form. You can refuse entry politely. Plus I don’t actually watch any live tv or bbc. I will continue not to pay to their currupt joke of a company and try tell others even if they don’t listen 😂

Sorry to be ignorant but can anyone one answer this. I do watch BBC dramas and often record them but everything is done through sky so does that count as watching live and needing a licence?

Yes unfortunately that’s how they get you to pay for it! However they can’t hack your tv and see why your watching 😉 therefor its up to you whether you want to cancel on the grounds of not watching it.. I suggest you watch the video I quoted above 🙂 x

To watch or record any TV (any channel) as it's being transmitted or to watch any BBC programme on catch up requires a licence - I think I have found a loophole though; it is to get someone else (who is

licensed to watch and record TV) to record it for you from their premises and to let you watch the recording from your home. I can NOT find anything in the current legislation that prohibits the watching of a recording of a BBC programme without a licence.

The government has no problem spending billions on wars they always look for ways to get more money from the public to pay for wars.

Well, on that note, they sell weapons to other countries but prohibit citizens to carry one for protection.

All the while everyone is concerned with Brexit and create fear mongering about it.

Sigh.
