What Type of Bread?

Hey everyone so help would be appreciated. Im making bread for Christmas day as part of a starter what type would you prefer? Im really keen on maybe a sourdough but is that a crowd friendly option? I love it but had some recently and it was so acidic I couldnt eat, so wondering for sake of children etc do I just do a white loaf- seeds or no seeds? Hard as we have a mixed gathering and some people I dont know very well plus children. Thanks in advance
