What Type of Bread?

Ask a Question

Hey everyone so help would be appreciated. Im making bread for Christmas day as part of a starter what type would you prefer? Im really keen on maybe a sourdough but is that a crowd friendly option? I love it but had some recently and it was so acidic I couldnt eat, so wondering for sake of children etc do I just do a white loaf- seeds or no seeds? Hard as we have a mixed gathering and some people I dont know very well plus children. Thanks in advance 😊

What do you think of this?

I've never thought of sourdough bread as particularly acidic but then I haven't had much of it but had some sourdough rolls a couple days ago and seemed fine. My favourite bread is the dutch style bread which is often called tiger bread in supermarkets but its hard to find bread I don't like. If you are trying to please everyone I'd go with the most common type of bread, maybe a mixed white and wholemeal loaf with a small amount of seeds. It really depends on how it is going to be served I guess.

Teff and buckwheat bread is really good.
