UK Rail Fares to Rise 3.1% in New Year

Very annoyed to see that fares are going up again, especially as services are rubbish!

Royal Mail and TfL will also be increasing again (I presume) but everyone is accustomed to it.
don't worry, there will be enough people grumbling about those services too! I don't use Royal Mail much these days, so I can't say it affects me. TFL on the other hand...
Given the cost of train tickets, the UK should have the best most reliable network in the world. It really is a bad joke.
Companies are always looking out for quantity ($$$) over quality while disguising as "we care about our customers, first and foremost!" type.
If someone gets refunded or an undisclosed amount because something went wrong, that's so the person (victim) keeps silent about it. It doesn't happen too often, unless in US. lol
yes indeed, you would think that the conditions of commuting would be better - but it's become quite a common sight to have crammed trains with no seats available. I'm surprised the commuters aren't the ones who start staging strikes!
Ahh good old blighty... We're a small island after all... We need Japanese tech to help rebuild our country and make Britain great again. MBGA!
lol the day I see that a UK train is reported to be late as it didn't arrive within the 15 second allotted period is the day I see pigs fly
