Unusual Means of Travelling to an Island

Ask a Question

Just watched a tv series called โ€˜Searching for Italyโ€™ featuring Stanley Tucci. In one episode, he travels from mainland Italy to Sicily. He does this via a whole train that is transferred onto a ferry.

Does anyone else know of any other unusual means of transferring from a mainland to an island?

I don't know about travelling to an Island but saw lots of party bikes around when I went to Amsterdam a couple of years ago, it looked like so much fun.

FG280 are you able to drink whilst travelling? I mean without spilling it?

HappyTravels you bring your own drinks, they store them for you, provide plastic cups, ice etc. Most people bring tins. The way you sit is like a table in front of you! Image

HappyTravels you might be surprised, pre covid they were in most cities! I live 14 miles away from ours (I'm rural) but always worth it and a great start to an evening out!
