Use Body Wash as a Hand Wash

Other

I dont know if anyone has noticed but liquid hand wash is more expensive than some unbranded shower body washes per ml

A handy tip is to buy , for example, a 500ml body wash and keep refilling the handwash container from this

Over the year it can be quite a good saving

I use anti-bacterial hand wash, so this wouldn't be relevant to me, but a good a tip for someone who's not bothered.

I don't think that Aldi anti-bacterial hand wash is more than 80 odd pence for 500ml, mind 🤔

TheChimp the anti bacterial hand washj from Aldi is 69p for 500ml and the non anti bacterial one is 59p for 500ml. The luxury ones are 75p for 300ml. The cheapest Aldi shower gel is the kids one at 85p for 500ml or 55p for 250ml. Whilst it might be cheaper to buy shower gel than hand soap in some places, it is not true of Aldi, well except for one product.

During the last year lockdown homebargains had put up a sign saying if handwash is not available then to use any bodywash, showergel or bubble bath as the concept was all the same of creating a lather.

Since then I've been using big cheap bottles of bubbles bath and just refilling the container.

I've been looking for handwash refills so as not to keep buying plastic bottled, but it doesnt really seem to exist for many brands in the UK. Your idea is a good one, but can you find refills (in pouch as opposed to thick plastic bottles)?

When I ran out of hand wash I just filled my container up with washing up liquid.

I do exactly the same thing I water down the "anti bacterial" washing up liquid, even though the anti bacterial element isn't strictly necessary, the soap alone will destroy any virus.

davidstockport I agree. I also have a bar of soap in a dish but most of just use the liquid soap.
