I’m getting sick of them and then they have the cheek to keep putting the prices up also - such a rip off!!

RegularComper90 Haha i was actually expecting to be banned or that comment removed but the old granny pc mob must have gone to bed only us with a sense of humour are up late lol

Hows comps RC90?

Just did BOTB tonight - lifestyle compy last week was really hard i didnt get it!

Hoping to win the £15,000 Honda CMX500 Rebel (well it would have to be for me eh lol)

Entry is only 30p to win a 15k motorbike or take the cash

Answer to the compy is the quadcopter bottom right!

Have to keep the post in line with the question:-

Was with NTL aka Virgin for over 20 years until last year finally had enough of Virgins price hikes but have to say i can count the number of times they went down on me on me on two hands so usually very reliable - funny to hear people say they are unreliable - I worked for NTL when the fastest speeds were 56k modem lol for a year they were great then Virgin took over thats when it went downhill and all the good engineers (like me) left!

garygemmell I am not one for getting offended easily. So no worries there! 😀

I hope it all goes well for you and that you continue to win some great prizes. I myself have been having a bit of a dry spell for around 8 months now, though I did win some colouring pens a couple of months back.

One thing I have learned from comping is that quality is more important than quantity. I hear of many compers entering as many competitions as they possibly can. Whilst I do indeed try to enter as many as I can, I also believe that you have more of a chance at winning something big if you enter the comps which require you to purchase something or ones which require effort. These comps are generally lower entry, with some being really low entry.

I did quite well won an Armani suit for my dad, 26k motorbike and a few thousand quid!

garygemmell Nice to know that I am on your cool dudes list. I am flattered. 😀

I can't remember the last time I saw a tiebreaker in a comp. Certainly quite a while ago. You hardly ever see those around nowadays.

But congrats on all of your great wins. 👏

garygemmell Thank you for your kind words. I can certainly see a huge win coming to me at some point during my lifetime. I'm just not sure when. But it will be a nice surprise when it does happen.

It could very well be this year. We shall have to wait and see. 🙂
