One of my favourites is actually a Thanksgiving film - Planes, Trains & Automobiles.

I'll happily watch it a couple of times a year.

You can’t beat Scrooged with Bill Murrray but I also like Arthur Christmas. Christmas is always a great time for movies.

I don't watch Christmas films, except the ones that are on tv on Christmas eve and Christmas Day. I don't really like Christmas movies.

wonderingsoul when I was teaching I had a whole week straight of watching Christmas films every lesson, there was one day I saw the first 45 minutes of Home Alone 6 times. I havent watched Home Alone since.

MrsCraig ouch that does sound like torture, personally i think the film is overrated anyway but that many times i dont blame you for not seeing it again.

wonderingsoul I have always thought it was over rated too but it was what they wanted to watch. I also refuse to watch ELF as that was another one I saw 5 times in one day.

wonderingsoul We actually have a copy of The Christmas choir (a true story about a group of homeless men in a choir) but we have to watch Christmas in the clouds which we recorded from the tv a few years ago which is about native american indians who own a hotel.

Home alone is my all time fave but I did really enjoy Daddy’s Home 2. That made me feel very festive.

I also really enjoyed Merry Liddle Christmas (Kelly Roland movie) not the best acting but I still enjoyed it
