When do You Guys Put Your Christmas Decorations up ?

I have been asking all of my friends when they put their decorations up.
Everyone has given different dates 
.
I do mine on December 1sr 
As I live alone, I rarely put up decorations and also because I am usually with others for Christmas. One year I made the conservatory like snowland with stick on snow flakes and imitation snow on floor, fairy lights etc and we ate Xmas dinner at the big table in there. Mind you, I was hoovering up bits of the 'snow' for days after as it was trodden all over the house!
. But I don't know if I would do as much if it was just me.
We like to put them up somewhere near the 1st of December it depends when my partner is working. I love seeing the kids get so excited.

I always do the 1st until the 31st. I figure it is so much work and money goes into it. I want a month to enjoy it
wyal5 absolutely, its only once a year. My kids are still young, so Christmas is magic for them and I absolutely love seeing their enjoyment. This year we're taking them to London for the weekend to see Christmas lights. They're so excited.
Normally the 1st weekend of December. I only do it because of our son, I never bothered when it was just the 2 of us. I got all of our decorations from my mum as she doesn't bother now.
I try and leave it as long as possible, my partners birthday is the 10th so I don't like it up before then but if I had it my way it would go up on 24th then down 26th 
I actually took my tree down on the 27th last year as it was driving me mad!
PinkElephant26 I took the tree down on the 26th last year. It was the first thing I did that day. I wouldn't bother if it wasn't for our son and my parents coming on Christmas day.
MrsCraig same, if I didn't have kids I really wouldn't bother, my partner on the other hand loves christmas and would probably leave the tree up all year round 
PinkElephant26 I never bothered when it was just the 2 of us, I didn't see the point. Luckily my husband doesn't really care about Christmas so he doesn't care when the decorations and tree go up.
I will not be putting up decorations this year as we are away until the 18th December and then working Christmas Day before having a Christmas dinner at the pub.
I’d like to put them up on the 24th and take them down on the 25th but I have made a deal with the devil (my granddaughter) this year and have said I will put them up on the 1st December 
Some time in December not in any hurry as the lights make electricity bill higher
I tend to put mine up always the first weekend of December as it gives me time to put everything up and also bring out the hoover for the bite that always lands on the floor!!
