When Do You Put up Your Christmas Decorations ?

Ask a Question

I was wondering when everyone puts their Christmas decorations.

I always do mine on the 1st December and take then down on the 31st December 🌲🎅🎁

We do it similar. Usually first weekend in December is when we put our decorations up then put them down at the begging of January 🤗

Put the tree up weekend before Christmas and down 2nd January. A small window but it had to be after December birthdays (1, 6, 12) and before the January one (3rd).

As late as I can, I have lost the key to my outside storage with the decorations in it, going to have to Do some forceful lock removal.

I usually put them on the 20th of November then keep them until new years because apparently it gives good Luck for the next year

I usually start putting the Christmas decorations up mid December after I’ve made the door wreath.

I’d wait for the month of December at least, although I don’t mind fairy lights all year round

I don't really do Christmas decorations but I put a little tree out and a few lights, the odd ornament, that's about it. Always wait until December and maybe first week or so.

Every year we put ours up the first weekend of Dec. We are away at a gig this year tho so I did considered putting ours up this weekend instead. However iv decided I can't be fussed yet & will do it on second weekend of December.

I've changed my mind and decided that they will go up a bit earlier this year, so will do them next week, well that's the plan in my head at the moment.

I caved and put mine up over the weekend. My husband refused to bring the tree etc down from the loft as in his opinion it was still November but that didn't stop me. Ended up getting one of our sons to come over and get the tree and all the other decorations etc down for me. Happy days 🌲
