I will eat the mince pie leaving crumbs, persuaded my kids to leave a mini bottle of gin so I'll have that before bed! And leave carrot ends

We used to throw our letters to Santa up the chimney, with the fire lit
(they’d get caught on the chimney ledge, out of sight) and race outside with my Mum to see if we could see them coming out of the chimney. My Mum always spotted them...my sister and I never did.
