What do you guys do with all the Christmas Cards You Receive ?
Ask a Question
I was just wondering what everyone does with all the Christmas cards they receive.
I always kerp the special ones from family snd friends. But i don't know what to do with the rest
Midnightflower thank you for the response.
That is s great idea. I am getting into doing crafting
I don’t receive many now, or send many. I used to cut out the designs and use them to make/decorate cards or make tags with them.
I always keep my personal cards and usually just recycle the rest but last year I cut them up to make tags for presents this year.
Family and friends I keep especially if they are getting on in years.Others I use as bookmarks sometimes.
I don't get that many cards and I don't send that many either. Last year we got two in the post and one from my parents. I really don't bother with Christmas cards much. I send 2 to my friends that always send them to us but that's it. I usually just recycle them.
bin them, but to be fair i get very few and less each year. which is a good thing what a waste of trees..
I just take them to the supermarket to get recycled, but my friend makes gift tags out of hers.
I keep the really personally ones but then eventually throw them out unless the person has died. When I was a child we used to cut them into small pieces and make Christmas gift tags for the next year. We used pinking shears to get wiggly edges.
Honestly...put them in a drawer. I loath them. Just wasteful. My family & friends know not to send them, so in fairness we receive few now & becoming less each year thankfully. We do send one to great grandparents as they get upset otherwise.
Put them all into a recycling bin in the supermarkets for Christmas cards. I know Morrisons have a special bin for this.
If I can make nice tags out of them I do, but otherwise I just recycle. Having said that I tend not to send or receive cards much, would prefer to save trees and postage!
