Is It worth Changing Gas / Electric Provider?
Ask a Question
My current provider are really useless and they are getting me mad. To the point I have emailed them 12 times about the same thing but they have not done it and they don't reply.
I really wish to change supplyers but apparently it's difficult to do right now.
Its very complicated on what to do concerning switching now K with the caps and increases etc, try to research online as each case is individual, Martin Lewis has been giving good advice on his shows recently, there are comparison sites you can use to see the best to switch to and the cheapest or if it is advisable to stay put
This is going to sound stupid, but have you tried ringing your supplier? That’s far more effective than emailing. No matter how long you have to stay in the queue, it’s worth talking to them on the phone.
flipside they create a complaint that goes to the same email team so not worth it.
flipside I also emails the CEO from ceoemail.com/ and you guessed it the same thing happened.
Personally I Change suppliers every time I have a problem so have tried lots I would definitely change
Unfortunately too much of a pain at the moment . All the suppliers just have their "peace time" staff and they simply can't keep up with all the requests they are getting from their current customers let alone take on new ones .
Obviously no comparisons available at the moment . I should sit tight for a month or so , your emails will be "time stamped" so you can use them as evidence of your complaint at a later date .
If next door neighbour has got a outdoor plug socket then plug into theirs but don't let them know. That's what I do
Changing would probably cause more hassle, it will be a long time before switching becomes the norm again.
Howmuch Especially since what happened today.
Talking about this fella...
Maybe he'll resign and we'll have a 4th PM this year.
I was also thinking to compare all electricity suppliers and find the best and cheapest one. Right now I have no idea which one is better
I'm afraid the takeover of Bulb -which has been on the cards for many months - will make no difference . No point in trying to switch at the moment . Best you will get is the energy cap price with any supplier .
