Xmas Supermarkets Delivery Dates

Other

Tesco customers who are signed up to its Delivery Saver service will be able to book slots from 6am on November 16.

If you're not signed up to Delivery Saver, its regular slots will become available from 6am on November 23.

Sainsbury's also hasn't released details of when its Christmas delivery slots for 2021 will be released.

Last year, its slots become available toward the end of November, starting from November 29.

I'm up from 3am so I will be there, ready and waiting, fingers poised to picks my slot! I wouldn't want one Christmas eve anyway, a few days before will do me fine. Thanks for the info - I haven't had my email yet.

Thanks for posting this - I was just talking about it with my family last night. We’re considering doing it online this year but we weren’t sure how early we’d have to order.

Marks and Spencer aren’t doing the Christmas food ordering in Ireland this year which I’m disappointed about. They say they cannot guarantee getting stock due to transport issues.

I'm just going to go into store and what they have is what we will eat at Christmas. We don't tend to go overboard anyway. My husband said the other day as long as he has something to eat he doesn't mind. Where we live you can only get 2 supermarkets to deliver, so I don't use them so that people who actually need them can use them. Plus my son loves going to supermarket as he loves pushing the trolley

Ann1984 we will basically just have a roast dinner and then left overs till they are done. Christmas day is for our son now, so the food side is for my husband!

MrsCraig we always said that Xmas for kids we used to have to leave them open presents then say you can play later because had to go in-laws for lunch but the sadness in faces made us stop and make it all about them.

Ann1984 our son is starting to understand Christmas this year so it will be even more important. My in-laws live in Northern Ireland so we don't see them at Christmas. My parents are 40 minutes away now so think they will come to us as mum has already hinted that she doesn't want to cook at Christmas.

Ocado's Christmas delivery slots sell out within hours of opening - I personally wouldn't trust such an important shop just encase it didn't turn up, which has happened to me in the past🙂

Thank you Ann1984

I'll be ordering from Tesco, but it'll only really be fresh veg, bread, milk and booze.

Have got my turkey roast ordered which will go in the freezer. Same as the chipolatas and bacon.

Will do my own parsley and thyme stuffing and a sausage meat one too.

Don't know whether I've got my parents up this year. Will all depend on this crappy Covid, I suppose. And whether MrsChimp wants to go and see her parents.

A few Christmas's ago we had chicken curry for Christmas dinner and added sprouts into the sauce. That was delicious!

I will be up and ready for when Tesco release their5 slots for Christmas to see how close we can get to xmas itself - trouble is last year I did that and still wasn't able to get a slot as they all went really quickly. We will have most of the stuff by then anyway as already have quite a few items put aside for Xmas anyway. Just the fresh stuff hopefully

Well done everyone for booking ahead instead of fuelling the rush! Good luck to all the delivery drivers with the insane people who buy loads right on Christmas Eve and expect it to arrive the same day. Respect to you all!!!!! 😍
