What is Dunelm?

Dunelm, formerly Dunelm Mill is a British home furnishings retailer founded in 1979 by Bill Adderley and Jean Adderley, trading textiles from a market stall in Leicester. The company has 150 stores to date and over 100 in-store Pausa coffee shops all over the UK. Dunelm is one of the largest housewares retailers in the country offering over 26,000 quality products in over 28 different departments and provides multi-channel convenience through online, mobile, catalogue, telephone ordering and reserve and collect schemes.

The first Dunelm store was launched in 1984 in Churchgate, Lancaster, while their first superstore opened in 1991 in Rothertham. The company acquire Bellbird in 2001 and started manufacturing custom-made curtains, blinds and accessories. With its rebranding in 2013, Dunelm focuses its strategy to offer their customers a wide range of products, exceptional value for money and excellent service. What are the delivery options for Dunelm?

Free Reserve & Collect

• Reservations are usually ready within 3 hours.
• You will be informed when your order is ready to collect.
• Products are always reserved at the online price, but if there's a better price in-store you'll always pay the lower one, availability is indicated on individual product pages.
• Orders will be hold for 2 days.

• Free delivery for orders of £49 and over.
• £3.95 for orders under £49.
• 3-5 working days.

• Delivers any orders placed before 9pm (Mon - Thurs) the next working day.
• Orders placed between 9pm on Thursday and 9pm on Friday will be delivered the following Monday.

Furniture & large items

• Free delivery for orders of £299 and over.
• £9.95 delivery for items under £299, delivered on your day of choice from Monday to Saturday.

• Free delivery for orders of £299 and over.
• £9.95 for orders under £299.
• 7-8 weeks for fabric sofas, 12-13 weeks for leather sofas.

How do I return an item to Dunelm?

Returning an in-store purchase (including Reserve & Collect reservations)

Refund and exchange is available with 28 days of purchase, provided you have proof of purchase and the product is unused and in its original packaging. Exclusions apply. All refunds will be made back to the original tender type. For your protection, in store refunds to credit or debit cards will only be processed if the cardholder is present.

Returning an Online Purchase

Return to Store

• Locate your nearest store through their Store Locator.
• Take the product(s) and despatch note, with the payment card used to purchase, to the Customer Services desk where your purchase will be refunded or an exchange arranged.

• Complete the returns form provided with your delivery and enclose with your parcel. Wrap your parcel securely.
• Write your order number in the space provided on the Collect+ label supplied and stick it on your parcel.
• You can find your local store by visiting www.collectplus.co.uk/.
• You'll receive proof of postage and a code to track your return online.

Returning a furniture item

Contact Dunelm for a piece of furniture or an item too large for Collect+ to arrange collection.
