Aldi is on an expansion spree, ready to unveil 35 new stores across the UK, kickstarting with eagerly awaited openings in Preston and Derby later this month. James Flanders at The Sun reported that Aldi's strategic move involves a hefty £550 million investment to broaden its footprint in the UK market this year alone. The first phase of openings will see new Aldi stores in various locations, including Castle Gresley, Bardon, High Wycombe, and Stoke Gifford, following the initial ones in Preston and Derby.
