Beauty products can typically be expensive, but there’s no need to spend a fortune on fancy haircare this summer, as one student has cracked the code to gorgeously glossy hair on the cheap: a £1 kids’ detangler from Home Bargains.

Sasha Tresidder, 19, a university student from Wales, found that her hair was knotty and matted in the summer heat, with normal conditioner not removing the tangles.

The Schwarzkopf Supersoft Kids Detangling Spray Girls has a mild formula to detangle the hair for tear-free combing. Though it’s marketed at kids, Sasha swears by the product, saying it’s the only solution for detangling her hair.

Sasha added: “I was struggling to find any thing to help my hair unmatt; due to my depression my hair is always matted. So I tried Home Bargains for cheap tricks and stumbled on this!”
