When is Amazon Black Friday? Everything You Need To Know

November 8, 2017, 12:00 PM
Amazon's Black Friday sale starts on Friday 17th November and runs until Sunday 26th November 2017. It will also be participating in Cyber Monday on 28th November 2017.
Amazon has announced it will be doing 10 days of Black Friday deals.

Online retailer Amazon has announced it’ll be offering Black Friday deals for 10 days to save customers millions in the lead up to Christmas. The saving event will last from Friday 17th November to Sunday 26th November.

Discounts will be available on a huge range of products, such as must have Christmas toys, fashion, and homeware.

Amazon's First Ever Pop-Up Store

The retailer, which normally is only available online, is also launching its first ever pop-up in Soho, London. This will run over four days, and has been described as a “Black friday experience pop-up”.

New deals will be added to the site daily throughout their Black Friday period, as well as ‘lightening deals’, where products will be discounted for a limited amount of time, and can happen as often as every 5 minutes.

Amazon Prime members will also get exclusive early access to these deals.

Discounts will also be available on Amazon marketplace, which lets third-party sellers put their products for sale on the site.

Amazon has released a TV advert to promote the event, featuring the famous boxes celebrating the festive season.

Competitors Have Started Black Friday Already

In the race to secure Black Friday sales, some of Amazon's competitors have already started their promotions.

Curry's, the electronics store, has launched a range of deals promoted under the headline, "Why Wait?".

Littlewoods has started to discount Christmas gifts such as Virgin Experience Days, and AO.com also has technology and kitchen appliances on offer, a full fortnight before Black Friday is set to begin.

Tom Church, co-founder of LatestDeals.co.uk said, "Amazon is the hottest place for Black Friday and the number one retailer bargain hunters look to during the sale period."
