Save up to 25% on Bayard Magazines subscriptions
Right now at Bayard Magazines, you can save 18% on a single subscription with code BTS18, or 25% when you buy two subscriptions with BTS25. It's part of their Back to School sale, so it will not hang around for long.
Bayard publishes children's magazines like StoryBox, AdventureBox and DiscoveryBox for ages 3 to 14. Each subscription includes 10 issues a year. The bit we like most is the free mid-subscription title swap: if your child's reading level jumps, you can switch titles without paying extra.
A few other details:
- Optional audio recordings for each issue
- Printed in the UK and delivered worldwide
- First issue arrives in 3 to 4 weeks
If you've got two children, BTS25 is the better deal. For one child, BTS18 still knocks a decent chunk off the price. Just order by the 15th of the month if you want the first issue to start that month rather than the next one.

Money saving tips at Bayard Magazines
Back to School codes
There are two Back to School codes live at Bayard Magazines right now. BTS18 knocks 18% off one subscription; BTS25 saves 25% when you buy two. Buying for two kids? BTS25's the obvious pick. Need just one magazine? Then BTS18 is still a decent chunk off. We'd grab these sooner rather than later. Bayard's offers tend to rotate with the school calendar.
Email sign-up extra
Sign up for the Bayard Magazines newsletter before you buy. You'll get a free ebook, plus activities, special offers and the newsletter itself. It's not a discount code exactly, but it can lead to exclusive offers down the line, and the free ebook is a nice little bonus. Our community says it's worth doing even if you're not ready to buy yet.
Box bundle deals
Keep an eye on the sale section for the Box titles: StoryBox, AdventureBox, AdventureBox MAX! and DiscoveryBox. They can drop to £42, which works out at up to 40% off RRP. That beats the standard 18% code by a mile. The catch? Stock and final price vary by magazine and age range, so check before you commit.
Backup codes
Missed the Back to School codes? Try E44 for 10% off any subscription, or E4419 for 19% off when you buy two. They're older codes, but Bayard has kept them active, and we've seen them work when other discounts go quiet. You can't use them alongside BTS18 or BTS25, so go with whichever saves you more on your basket.
Swap titles free
No code needed for this one, but it still saves you money. Bayard lets you switch magazine titles mid-subscription for free. So when your child outgrows StoryBox and moves to AdventureBox or DiscoveryBox, you don't have to cancel and start over. You keep your original per-issue price, which can add up.
Frequently asked questions about Bayard Magazines
How do I use/apply a Bayard Magazines discount code?
- Pick a Bayard Magazines discount code or voucher from Latest Deals that fits the subscription you want.
- Click the orange "see code" button and copy the code that appears.
- You’ll be taken to the Bayard Magazines website in a new tab.
- Add the magazine subscription you want to your basket. Bayard sells monthly children’s magazine subscriptions such as StoryBox, AdventureBox, AdventureBox MAX!, DiscoveryBox, Chirp, Chickadee and OWL.
- Head to checkout.
- Paste your Bayard Magazines promo code into the discount code box and apply it.
- Check the discount has been taken off before you pay. It’s worth a quick look, because no one wants to spot a code issue after the final click.
What can I do if my Bayard Magazines code isn’t working?
First, check the code is typed exactly as shown. A stray space or one wrong character can stop it working. Then check the offer terms against your basket. For example, BTS18 is for a first single subscription, while BTS25 is for buying two subscriptions during the Back to School sale. If you’ve only got one subscription in your basket, BTS25 won’t apply. It’s also worth making sure the offer is still live, since Bayard’s promotions change around sales periods and newsletter offers. If it still won’t work, try another Bayard Magazines voucher from Latest Deals. Sometimes a different code is simply the better fit.
Can I use more than one Bayard Magazines voucher code on the same order?
Bayard’s offers are separate promotions, so you generally cannot stack more than one discount code on the same order. The current Back to School offers are separate codes too: BTS18 for one single subscription, or BTS25 for two subscriptions. In practice, you need to choose the one that gives you the best saving for that basket.
Is there a Bayard Magazines discount for first orders or new customers?
Yes. Bayard Magazines is currently offering 18% off your first single subscription with code BTS18, or 25% off when buying two subscriptions with code BTS25. Those offers are part of the Back to School sale, so they are worth using sooner rather than later.
Do I get anything for signing up to the Bayard Magazines newsletter?
Yes. Bayard says newsletter sign-ups receive 1 free ebook, plus special offers, activities and the newsletter itself. It’s a decent little perk, especially if you’re already planning to order.
Does Bayard Magazines offer free delivery?
No standard free-delivery option is listed. Bayard says shipping charges apply to most countries and are worked out automatically at checkout. So the final delivery cost depends on where the subscription is going, and you’ll see it before you pay. Print subscriptions are delivered worldwide, with China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan served via bayard.com.hk, and Singapore via bayardmagazines.sg.
What is Bayard Magazines’s returns policy?
Bayard Magazines subscriptions and magazine copies are not refundable, so there is no normal returns process. The only exception mentioned is for accidental duplicate subscriptions to the same title for the same subscriber. In that case, the extra subscription can be refunded or exchanged for another title of the same value.
When will my first Bayard Magazines issue arrive?
Bayard says the first issue usually arrives around 3 to 4 weeks after the order is placed. If you order on or before the 15th of the month, the subscription starts that month. If you order after the 15th, it starts the following month. That timing matters a bit, so it’s worth checking before you order if you want it lined up with a birthday or term start.

About Bayard Magazines
Bayard Magazines is the UK arm of the French publisher Bayard Presse. It sells monthly children's magazine subscriptions for ages 3 to 14, with titles including StoryBox, AdventureBox, AdventureBox MAX!, DiscoveryBox, Chirp, Chickadee and OWL. The shop also carries Books & Stationery, Gifts & Flowers, and Streaming & Digital Subscriptions.
What we like most is the flexibility. The subscriptions run for 10 issues a year, and some titles include optional audio recordings. If a child outgrows one magazine partway through a subscription, you can switch to another title for free. That's a genuinely useful extra, especially when kids change their minds every five minutes. The magazines are printed in the UK and can be delivered worldwide, which is handy for families outside the UK too.
If you're looking for a Bayard Magazines discount code or voucher, you'll find the latest offers here on Latest Deals.
I'm Tom, a deal expert and co-founder at LatestDeals, and I've spent years scraping together savings on everything from supermarket yellow stickers to kids' magazines. My favourite Bayard tip isn't a coupon at all: remember you can swap magazine titles mid-subscription for free. If your child outgrows StoryBox and moves to AdventureBox or DiscoveryBox, you don't need to cancel and resign up. You just switch, and keep the price you originally paid. That's a proper long-term saver. When I'm not tracking discounts, I'm usually building cardboard rockets with my kids — and hiding from the toy aisle.
